Batch Exposure Correction

Bring a batch to a consistent midtone using linear-light histogram analysis, with highlight rolloff instead of hard clipping.

All processing runs in your browser. No file leaves this device.

Each photo's median luminance is measured in linear light and shifted toward the target. The classic reference is 0.18 — the 18% grey card that light meters are calibrated against.

Highlight protection replaces hard clipping with a Reinhard-style rolloff above a knee point. Without it, pushing exposure turns skies and wedding dresses into a single flat white with visible banding at the boundary; with it, values that started out different remain distinguishable after the lift.
